I found this
do you have a clearer image at all
No sorry, but I could write down the names of the Valar and Maiar most powerful to least, but it would take a bit. What I searched up to find that was 'Eru and Eru's Children' went to images, should be the first one. It's on facebook.
We have a video on the Valar coming soon :)
looking forward to that!!
Cool! I'll watch out for it :)
To my knowledge it goes like this:
Valar (some more powerful than others, obviously)
Maiar (some are really powerful, others are kinda weak)
Children of Eru (elves are basically the older brothers of men)
Animals (I count them as sentient beings due to the fact that some of them can talk and are said to have cultures)
Orcs, dragons, Balrogs, etc. (The boiler room of hell. All the way down.)
So that is a little complicated but basically Eru is above them all. The Valar have different powers, but when they were all together Melkor begged for forgiveness from them. Special mention for Orome and Tulkas because they both liked fighting him. Below the Valar it gets a bit more confusing. The Balrogs were very powerful one of them being Captain for Melkor while Sauron was a Lieutenant. The Istari were very powerful as Gandalf showed when he faught the Balrog. Was Radagast capable of that same level of power? I doubt it. Dragons are never made clear, but I do know that Gandalf wanted to keep Sauron and Smaug away from each other as they would make a terrible alliance. The 9 ring wraiths were super powerful together, but Saruman had enough power to fool them and send them on their way. Huan the hound subdued Sauron by himself. Thorondor the eagle scratched Morgoth's face. Fingolfin wounded Morgoth 7 times with Ringil. There aren't any straight comparisons for you really. A lot of what Tolkien wrote was very intricate and intertwined so no real straight answers.
Maiar who can wound fallen Valar are pretty epic if you ask me. Oh yeah, the elf guy was pretty epic too.
Wasn't Melkor the most powerful of the Valar? And then Manwe?
The whole history and adventures of the dwarven people be nice to see more of.
Mandos is said that to be the closest to Elu Illuvatar. And there a hierarchy among the Valar.
Manwe and Varda I think would be the most powerful? because they're the king and queen of the Valar.
